Repair service for PCM1 screen outage

If your PCM1 (those with tape deck) has the following problems, it's time for a repair:

- Device still works, but the screen remains black
- Screen flickers darkly
- Entering destinations takes much longer than usual
- All lights flash from time to time, "Navigation is starting" keeps coming up.
- Map view sometimes freezes

The offer applies to devices with the following part numbers:

Part no. 996.642.144.00 01 02 03 04 etc.
Part no. 996.642.944.00 01 02 03 04 etc.

How it works:

1. Repair form:

Print out the repair form and fill it out as completely as possible.

2. Shipping:

Pack your defective device. Please note that packages must be able to withstand a fall from a height of 80cm without damage (according to the package delivery company's information). Put the repair form in the package. Fill the box with even padding. The item must no longer move back and forth. Example:

3. Payment:

After completion, your order will be processed using the payment method specified on the repair form.

4. Return shipment:

The return shipment will take place the day after the payment is received.

Important: If another defect is found in your device, you will of course receive information from us in advance. If you return a device that has not been repaired, we charge a flat rate of €38 + €4.99 shipping costs within Germany (including 19% VAT) per device for the diagnosis and/or cost estimate.
